Our new Education Coordinator Marcea Reid, along with Robin Kelley, has already introduced many of the newest members to ceramics through the initial Beginners’ Series. The program is a great success, with participants successfully creating three projects using different techniques. Ann LaCaze-Massi is continuing her popular Learning Cone 6 Clay & Glazing class this year for new members to learn about hand building, and current members to hone their skills. Now that we can order greenware, Laura Middleton will hold some greenware cleaning sessions to show you how to prepare your piece for finishing.
We are hoping to offer classes often to engage members and have some fun.
