This class is a continuation of Cone 6 learning. We will introduce students to ways to hand build using forms, cut outs and designer molds. We will show nothing stops your imagination except yourself!

You might use molds to make dishes, plates or bowls; use cookie cutters to make decorative pieces or wind chimes, or sprigs for decorations.

Pre-requisite:  Jan’s Cone 6 class

Supplies student MUST bring:

slab of clay, hopefully rolled out big enough for what you wish to make (between 3/8 and 1/4 inch before class would be helpful). You can keep it damp by covering with damp cloth. You can just bring in clay, but we only have one slab roller so if your clay is pre-rolled that is one less step you will need to do in class.

Extra clay for decorative pieces, cutting tools, sponge for smoothing

Cost:

Cost is $5.00 payable IN ADVANCE to Sun City Anthem Community Association, Inc. Place payment in envelope labeled with class title, class date, your name, and put in Treasurer’s box locker #1. The DEADLINE for making payment to retain your enrollment is March 26. Class fee is not refundable after this date.

Enrollment limit:  10 students
